Shiraz rugs are woven by nomadic tribes of southern Iran, such as the Qashqai. They have lively geometric designs, animal and tree motifs, and bright, joyful colors.

Caring for your rug
- Vacuum regularly with suction only, or with the beater bar turned off. Never vacuum the fringe.
- Rotate the rug every 6 to 12 months so it wears and fades evenly.
- Blot spills right away with a clean white cloth and cool water. Do not rub.
- Use a quality rug pad to stop slipping, cushion the rug and protect your floors.
- Have hand-made rugs professionally washed every few years, depending on traffic.
Choosing the right size
Living room: big enough for at least the front legs of all main seating. Dining room: about 24 inches beyond the table on every side. Bedroom: extend 18 to 24 inches past the sides of the bed.
