About Fred Remmers Rug Gallery
Fred Remmers Rug Gallery is a rug gallery, not a warehouse. We hand-select Persian and Oriental rugs one at a time, and every rug we sell is the only one of its kind.
What we do
Our collection spans more than 1,800 rugs: fine city rugs from Tabriz, Kashan and Qum, sturdy village rugs from Heriz, Hamadan and Bijar, tribal pieces from the Baluch, Qashqai and Turkmen weavers, and newer hand-knotted rugs from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkey. About half of the collection is vintage and pre-owned Persian rugs, with the soft, mellowed character that only years of use can give a rug.
