The piece
Hand-knotted in Iran (Persia), this Heriz runner has a tribal design on a gray field, with touches of ivory, framed by a gray border. It is a pre-owned piece, so expect the softened colors and gentle wear that give vintage rugs their character. At 2' 8" x 9' 8" (81 x 295 cm), it works well in a hallway, kitchen or entryway.
Only one exists. This rug is one of a kind. There is no other exactly like it, and the rug pictured is the rug you receive.

About Heriz Rugs
Heriz rugs come from the villages around Heriz in northwest Iran. Their large angular medallions, bold borders and tough, thick wool make them some of the most durable Persian rugs you can own.
Shipping & delivery
Standard shipping is free within the contiguous United States. Your rug is carefully folded and rolled for the trip. For delivery timing or shipping outside the US, call us at (877) 278-3704 before ordering.
Caring for your rug
- Vacuum regularly with suction only, or with the beater bar turned off. Never vacuum the fringe.
- Rotate the rug every 6 to 12 months so it wears and fades evenly.
- Blot spills right away with a clean white cloth and cool water. Do not rub.
- Use a quality rug pad to stop slipping, cushion the rug and protect your floors.
- Have hand-made rugs professionally washed every few years, depending on traffic.
